What is a lift chair?

For My New Design, it seems essential to us to offer different ranges of armchairs, in order to best meet each of life's needs.

After several very design ranges with wooden shell, we have proposed a more traditional range offering different and additional options. All of these armchairs, which are a little less design than the wooden shell ranges (VEGANAOS, etc.), offer certain useful and more ergonomic features in their use, always with the concern for the quality of materials.

What more do these lift armchairs bring ?

lift armchair is generally an electric armchair (although manual lift chairs also exist) dedicated to comfort and relaxation. It is a style of armchair perfectly suited to living room use, for relaxing, reading or watching television.

The great advantage of a lift chair is its ability to lie down for maximum relaxation as many relax chairs offer, but above all the possibility of getting up from your chair much more easily.

Its use is therefore particularly suitable for our seniors or for anyone who has difficulty getting up following a health problem (surgery, lumbar problem, etc.).

Our two lift armchair model

For My New Design, we now offer 2 lift chairs:

  • The LUKOS: 1-motor electric wheelchair
  • The LOKHOS, electric wheelchair with 2 motors

These two relax armchairs are made of microfiber (100% polyester) and are available in 4 colors (grey, chocolate, raspberry, dark blue).

The advantage of the LOKHOS relax chair is that you can recline your back and legs independently thanks to its two motors.

For these two models of electric lift chairs, a remote control is present and accessible to facilitate its use and the possibility of reaching a very elongated position is quite possible.

In addition, always with a view to ease of use, the LUKOS is easily moved thanks to 2 wheels at the back.

For these two models, the lift function is very easily available thanks to the wired remote control connected to the chair.
